Forever a Student

To become a pediatrician, you have to go through a lot of school:
  • Four years of undergraduate school
  • Four years of medical school
  • At least 3 years of residency

However,

Once you become a pediatrician, education does not stop. First of all, it is necessary to attend annual conventions to keep up with any updates on ethical situations. Furthermore, you need to keep up with your reading so you can stay updated in the latest medical breakthroughs, illnesses or diseases, and techniques. Finally, as we all know, technology basically improves overnight. As a result, you need to stay updated with what the new technology does and how to use it.
